Hayward's polypropylene simplex strainers are typically reserved for chemically aggressive applications otherwise incompatible with PVC and CPVC materials, such as acetic acid and hydroxides.
The fully molded, user friendly design consists of just a few components, the body, cover, connections and vent/drain valves. The oversize cover handles enable removal without the use of tools and hte same goes for the vent and drain plugs. If you prefer we can replace the plugs with valves for an additional cost.
Our polypropylene strainers have (1) inlet and (2) potential outlets. One of the outlets can be directly opposite the inlet and the other directly under the inlet to support installation in corners for example.
The true union connections simplify installation and removal from your pipeline and the flat bottom base has slots to secure it to grade.

1½" thru 4" Basket Strainers standard perforation is 1/8".
You may substitute 1/32", 1/16", 1/8" or 3/16" perforated baskets in lieu of standard basket perforation for no charge.
Strainer baskets are same material as the strainer body.
½" thru 2" PVC Strainers are supplied with both socket and threaded end connectors.
